All The New Movies Coming to Streaming This Week


This week sees the theatrical release of two major films, Abigail and The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Although, it’s arguably an even bigger week on the streaming front, with the PVOD release of the biggest movie of the year, the thrilling conclusion to Zack Snyder‘s sci-fi epic, and a controversial horror flick headlined by one of Hollywood’s top rising stars.

‘DogMan’

Luc Besson, the celebrated director of Léon: The Professional, The Fifth Element, and Lucy, returns with his first movie in four years: DogMan. Caleb Landry Jones (X-Men: First Class) stars as Doug Munrow, a young man who was the victim of his father’s abuse and only found solace through his love of dogs. Doug now spends his days performing weekly as a drag queen, while also stealing jewelry and expensive artifacts alongside his trusted canine companions. He soon decides to become a vigilante alongside his dogs, seeking revenge on those who have wronged him. DogMan also stars Jojo T. Gibbs (Civil War), Christopher Denham (Oppenheimer), Clemens Schick (Andor), and newcomer Grace Palma.

‘Immaculate’

Sydney Sweeny (Euphoria) continues her domination over Hollywood and becomes a scream queen in the Nunsploitation horror flick Immaculate. Sweeney stars as Cecilia, a young American nun who receives an invitation to live in an Italian convent overseas. While initially overjoyed, the longer Cecilia stays, the more she begins to realize that her new home has some twisted and terrifying plans in store for her. Michael Mohan (The Voyeurs) directs the movie, which also stars Álvaro Morte (The Wheel of Time), Benedetta Porcaroli (Baby), Dora Romano (The First Omen), Giorgio Colangeli (Salty Air), and Simona Tabasco (The White Lotus).

‘Freud’s Last Session’
